Schenk Seventh, Women's Golf Fourth at Landmark Preview
SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. - Led by a seventh-place finish by Iseline Schenk, the Goucher College women's golf team finished fourth out of seven teams at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort on Saturday and Sunday. The Gophers posted a team score of 400 on Saturday, then improved by 18 shots Sunday to finish at 782 for the tournament. Catholic University finished first.
Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort will host the 2024 Landmark Men's Golf Championship on April 27-28, 2024.
Schenk finished seventh with a two-day score of 175, posting a score of 89 Saturday and lowering that by three shots on Sunday with an 86. Schenk finished eight shots behind medalist Gabrielle Courtney of Catholic, as the Cardinals swept the top five spots individually.
Maddie Agrusti finished 15th overall as she shot 96 on Sunday and finished with a two-day total of 195. Keeli Satterfield finished two shots behind Agrusti after also carding a 96 on Sunday.
Molly Smith lowered her score by seven shots on Sunday with a 104 and finished tied for 23rd, while Grace Klain rounded out the Gopher finishers with a 29th place finish.
The Landmark Preview closes out the fall slate for Goucher women's golf.
