Schenk Earns All-Conference, Gophers Finish Fourth at Landmark Championship
SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. - Led by an eighth place finish by sophomore Iseline Schenk to earn Landmark Conference Second Team All-Conference honors, the Goucher College women's golf team finished fourth out of eight competing schools at the 2024 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship that concluded Sunday at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The Gophers finished with a two-day total of 763 after posting a score of 375 on Sunday.
Schenk, who earns Landmark Second Team honors for the second time in her career, finished with a two-day total of 169 after posting an 84 in Saturday's opening round and an 85 on Sunday.
Catholic University won the team title with a total of 629, followed by Drew University (672) and the University of Scranton (710). Wilkes University (785) rounded out the top five.
Sophomore Keeli Satterfield improved by five shots and shot 90 on Sunday, finishing tied for 18th with a two-day score of 185.
Junior Maddie Agrusti carded a 99 for the second straight day and finished at 198 to tie for 25th. Grace Klain improved by nine shots in round two, posting a 101, and finished at 211 for the tournament to place 32nd.
Goucher's 375 on Sunday was its second-lowest team round of the season and tied for the seventh-lowest round in the seven year history of the program.
