A goal by McKenna Wilkinson (Keene, N.H./Keene) provided Goucher with a 1-0 lead over Immaculata in the first half and another by Sarah Lodge (Pilesgrove, N.J./Woodstown) put head coach Tati Korba's squad ahead 2-1 in the second period. However, the Mighty Macs caught up both times and eventually passed the Gophers when Zena Tracey tallied an unassisted goal at 71:33 that would stand up as the game-winner in a 3-2 non-conference victory today.

IMMACULATA, Pa. – A goal by McKenna Wilkinson (Keene, N.H./Keene) provided Goucher with a 1-0 lead over Immaculata in the first half and another by Sarah Lodge (Pilesgrove, N.J./Woodstown) put head coach Tati Korba's squad ahead 2-1 in the second period. However, the Mighty Macs caught up both times and eventually passed the Gophers when Zena Tracey tallied an unassisted goal at 71:33 that would stand up as the game-winner in a 3-2 non-conference victory today.
Wilkinson opened the scoring at 8:58 with a breakaway goal that was set up by Sisley Pumilia (Spofford, N.H./Keene), but the Gophers (5-6-1) were able to maintain their 1-0 lead for less than 10 minutes before the Mighty Macs (4-7-2) drew even on a goal by Anne Popgoshev at 18:43.
After out-shooting Immaculata, 8-5, in the opening 45:00, the Gophers were limited to just one shot the entire second half. That shot, however, produced Lodge's goal at 60:52 that made the score 2-1 in Goucher's favor.
Nicole Sanfilippo (Roslyn Heights, N.Y./The Wheatley School) was awarded an assist on Lodge's goal.
Athena Campbell's goal at 64:31 created a 2-2 tie.
The Mighty Macs unleashed 14 shots in the second half to finish with a decisive 19-9 edge.
