MADISON, N.J. — Goucher limited Drew to 13 shots today, but

The Gophers (3-7, 0-2 Landmark) were down 1-0 just 2:30 into the contest thanks to an unassisted goal by Courtney Carvevale. The Rangers (4-6-1, 1-1 Landmark) added goals by Michelle Malone at 33:11 and Emily Weida at 56:16.
Goucher's Kitty McIlroy (Ann Arbor, Mich./Greenhills School) made a goal-saving play for Goucher in the 38th minute of the first half to keep the score at 2-0. Abby Dingle of the Rangers was about to get through on goal before McIlroy’s sliding tackle cleared the ball out of the box to safety.
