Stevenson.
Heading into this afternoon's contest, Matthews had made 433 saves during her three seasons with the Gophers. She caught Lauren Schwartz (1996-99) at 436 when she turned away a shot from the top of the box by Stevenson's Stephanie Eyler in the 23rd minute and passed her when she stopped an attempt by Kayla Curry, again from the top of the box, in the 26th minute.

The Gophers (3-12-1) saw their deficit grow to 2-0 on a goal by Heather Redding at 20:13 before they got on the scoreboard on an unassisted goal by Shay Kettner (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) with just 3:04 remaining in the first half.
Eyler restored Stevenson's lead to two goals when she managed to bend in a shot from the right wing at 57:31. Goucher closed to within a goal for a second time when Nicole Sanfilippo (Kew Gardens, N.Y./The Wheatley School) cashed in a free kick from 35 yards away with just 1:15 remaining.
It was the second goal of the senior defender's career.
