Gophers Get Off Seven Shots, Just One in Second Half

READING, Pa. — Goucher was tagged for two goals in the first half and two more in the second period as Albright registered a 4-0 victory over head coach Tati Korba's Gophers tonight.

Mel Sullivan opened the scoring at 10:54 by bending a corner kick into the goal. The Lions (4-3-2) went ahead 2-0 midway through the first half on a goal by Lauren O'Brien.

Sullivan successfully converted a penalty kick at 58:18 to provide Albright with a 3-0 lead before Isla Wilczynski closed out the scoring at 72:10 by sending in a long shot from 20 yards out that settled into the far corner.

The Gophers (1-5-1) were limited to just one shot the entire second half and a total of seven for the game.
