TIMONIUM, Md. — On Sunday, March 30, members of the Goucher women's soccer program visited St. Vincent's Villa for an afternoon of community service.
Goucher women's soccer alum Sisley Pumilia, '11, now works at St. Vincent's Villa, a residential treatment center that provides comprehensive therapeutic services to children with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. Sisley arranged for the team to work and play with a group of kids from the program, taking them through soccer-specific training and participating in a scrimmage.
"All in all it was an amazing day," head coach Tati Korba said. "We hope it was as beneficial for the kids at St. Vincent's as it was for all of us."
