Registration Open for Goucher Fall ID Soccer Camp

TOWSON, Md. — The Goucher College women's soccer team will host a one-day ID Camp for players interested in becoming a Gopher on Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at Beldon Field on the Goucher campus.

Athletics Eclipses 3.0 GPA for 30th-Straight Semester

TOWSON, Md. —Thirteen student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Seventeen programs with a GPA over 3.0. It all adds up to a 30th-straight semester of academic excellence for Goucher’s athletic department.

Season Recap: Gophers' Playoff Push Falls Short

TOWSON, Md. — For a third consecutive season, only one game stood between Goucher and a spot in the Landmark playoffs. For the third consecutive season, though, that game went against the Gophers, and the program was forced to settle for a sixth-place finish in the standings in 2014.

Landmark Releases 2014 Fall Academic Honor Roll

TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference announced its 2014 Fall Academic Honor Roll selections today, with Goucher accounting for 39 of the 371 student-athletes receiving recognition. The Honor Roll recognizes all fall student athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

Gophers Suffer 2-0 Defeat to First Place Cardinals

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher and Catholic were originally slated to face off last Wednesday at Beldon Field, but a steady rain with the threat of thunderstorms forced a postponement to this evening. Weather conditions were not much better tonight, with rain present early and gusty winds throughout, but the Landmark leading Cardinals used two early goals to overcome those circumstances and hand the Gophers a 2-0 defeat.

Early Drew Goals in Each Half Send Gophers to Loss

TOWSON, Md. —Goucher surrendered a goal within the first five minutes of each half against Drew this afternoon. Despite the home team ending the contest with an 11-6 edge in shots, those early goals would ultimately make the difference in a 2-1 defeat to the Rangers at Beldon Field.

TOWSON, Md. — The opposing keepers weren't tested often in today's game between Goucher and Moravian, the first Landmark Conference contest of the season for both teams. But both of them rose to the occasion when called upon and stopped every shot they had to in order to keep the game scoreless through all 90 minutes of regulation.
