TOWSON, Md. – Women's Soccer sophomore Isabel Suazo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Prospect Charter School) was named to the 2017 All-Landmark Conference Second team at midfielder.
"I am very excited for Izzy," said head coach Stephanie Ricketts. "She is a dynamic and competitive player that other teams notice and have to be aware of and she is deserving of this award.
"It is great for our program to have one of our players recognized and it is a true representation of the hard work that not just Izzy, but the entire team, has put in all season."
In 2017, Suazo scored a season-high of six goals, leading the team. She also tallied two assists, totaling for 14 points this season. The highlight of her season came against Notre Dame of Maryland University, where she scored a pair of goals to lead the Gophers to a 3-0 win back on Oct. 24.
