Senior Spotlight: Women's Soccer
We move onto our team Senior Spotlights for the programs that were able to have a Senior Day during 2019-20. We would like to thank three Goucher women's soccer players for their hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the women's soccer program for the last four years.
2019 Goucher Women's Soccer Senior Class
Our first senior hails from Freeland, Maryland and appeared in 19 games in her career. She notched her lone collegiate goal when she scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Notre Dame on September 24. Majoring biological sciences and the daughter of Wendy and Ronald. Our next senior is from Glenwood, Maryland, who has played in 63 games including 39 starts. She was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team as a junior after scoring three goals for six points. She also earned Goucher Departmental Awards Scholar Award as a junior and the Ruth Baird Thompson '31 Award as a senior. She finished her career with four goals and three assists for 11 points, including dishing out an assist on the game-winner in overtime in the season-opening win against Gwynedd Mercy on August 30. Next we have a senior from Hallowell, Maine, who has appeared in 53 games including 24 starts and registered nine shots in her career. She is majoring in international relations and is the daughter of Betsy and Dale. Ladies and gentlemen, Dani Sweet. SWEET FULL BIO
