Belle St. Jean Earns Landmark First Team Accolades
TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College women's soccer junior defender Belle St. Jean (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) has been named Landmark Conference First Team All-Conference, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon. St. Jean, who earns All-Conference accolades for the second time in her career, becomes just the fourth Landmark First Team All-Conference selection for the Gophers in the 16-year history of the conference and the first since Lexi Solazzo in 2015.
St. Jean has started all 17 games on defense for Goucher this season, anchoring a backline that has posted nine shutouts and held opponents to a 0.88 goals against average.
Last season, St. Jean was a Second Team All-Conference selection. She becomes the fourth multi-time Landmark All-Conference selection in the Gopher record books.
8-6-3 overall and with the most victories since 2015, Goucher continues its season this weekend in the ECAC Division III Championship. The Gophers travel to FDU-Florham for an ECAC semifinal on Saturday, November 12 at 3 pm.
