TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College first year goalkeeper Madison Gutierrez made six saves en route to her fourth shutout of the season as the Gophers battled Susquehanna University to a 0-0 tie in Landmark Conference women's soccer Tuesday night at Beldon Field.
- Susquehanna (2-6-4, 1-1-3 Landmark) put its first shot on goal four minutes in that was turned aside by Gutierrez.
- Gutierrez made another save for Goucher (3-3-6, 0-2-3) seven minutes later.
- An Emily Wertz bid in the 32nd minute was stopped by Gutierrez.
- Tatyana Jimenez put Goucher's first shot on goal in the 37th minute that was saved by River Hawk keeper Kayleigh Saboja.
- Carly Stevens had a shot blocked with three minutes left in the half.
- Gutierrez made her first save of the second half three minutes in.
- Stevens had a deep shot with 30 minutes to go corralled by Saboja.
- Nora Neall sent a shot high with just under 17 minutes left.
- Jimenez had a shot blocked with six minutes on the clock.
- Gutierrez made her sixth save of the game with just under five minutes remaining.
- With just over a minute to go on a River Hawk corner kick, Gutierrez came out to play a ball at the top of the 18, allowing Gillian Maack to fire a shot past her, but Hanna Rogers made a defensive header at the line to keep the game scoreless.
- Susquehanna held a 10-6 shot advantage and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
- Saboja made a pair of saves while Gutierrez made six saves for the second straight game.
