Belle St. Jean Earns Second USC Scholar All-Region Selection

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College women's soccer senior defender Belle St. Jean was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team for the second straight season, it was announced on Friday morning. St. Jean is now eligible for Scholar All-America honors.
A Psychology major, St. Jean has enjoyed a standout career both on and off the pitch for the Gophers. A three-time Landmark Conference All-Conference team member who earned First Team honors in 2022, St. Jean is also a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection and was named to the All-ECAC Team earlier this week. St. Jean was a three-year starter and two-year captain for the Gophers, starting 50 games in three seasons.
As a Psychology major, St. Jean is a member of the Goucher Psi Chi chapter within the Psychology department. A participant in the Gopher Leadership Academy, St. Jean has worked with Goucher's Prison Education Program (GPEP) as a research assistant. A recipient of the Corene Elaine Amoss '93 Prize this year, St. Jean plans to attend graduate school following graduation for a Master's or PsyD programin clinical psychology with the eventual goal of becoming a therapist.
