Bio

Caitlin Colfer begins her second season with the Goucher coaching staff for the fall of 2010 season, serving as the program's first Assistant/Graduate Assistant.

Colfer is a 2009 graduate from The Ohio State University where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Science. She currently holds her National C Coaching License issued by the (USSF) United States Soccer Federation. Colfer was awarded the "Bob McNulty Award" as the outstanding coaching candidate at the United States Soccer Federation National "C" License Coaching School, held in August, 2010 at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.

As a four-year member of the Buckeye women’s soccer team, Colfer recorded eleven career assists and ranks 13th all-time for assists at Ohio State. In the classroom, Colfer was a NSCAA Second Team Academic All-American, as well as a four year Ohio State University Scholar Athlete award winner.

In 2006, Colfer was captain of the WPSL Adirondack Lynx who won the North Eastern Division Championship. She was also a 5 year Region I ODP player and represented Team USA at the U-17 International Tournament in Castle Bar Ireland in 2004.

Colfer served as the 2008 Assistant Coach of the Santos Soccer Organizations U-14 team, and she has coached multiple camps throughout the country.
