Bio

Chris came to Goucher during the summer of 2017.

Previously he has spent time coaching soccer at the high school level. Since 2010 he has been the Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach at Kenwood High School where he secured 44 wins over seven years, leading the Bluebirds to two divisional runner-up finishes. During the 2011 campaign, he was named the Baltimore Sports Report Coach of the Year.

Prior to his stint with the girl's team, Chris spent three years with the Boys Varsity Soccer Team in the position of Assistant Coach (2008-2010). During the 2007 season, he was the Girls Varsity Goalkeepers Coach at Caesar Rodney High School where the team was a Delaware State Finalist.

As a player at Wesley College in Dover, Del., Chris played all four years in the goal for the Wolverines, culminating in an ECAC South Championship in 2004 - the only men's soccer championship in Wesley College history. Chris graduated from Wesley in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and minor in Psychology. He continued on to Walden University where he earned a Master of Science in Education in 2009.

Today, he is a Physical Education and Sports Psychology teacher at Kenwood High School. He currently holds a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Regional Diploma and USC State Level Goalkeeping Diploma.

Chris lives in Nottingham, Md. with his wife (Missy), daughter (Harper) and dog (Stamford). With his free time, he likes to relax with family and friends, golf and play indoor soccer.
