Head Coach Tati Korba's enters her 13th season at the helm of the Goucher College women's soccer program in 2017.

Korba is the winningest coach at Goucher College, posting 71 wins over her career. In 2015, the Gophers produced a winning record for the first time since 2012 as they tallied an eight-win season. Goucher competed hard throughout the year, playing to one-goal decisions with three teams that finished the year in the Landmark Conference playoffs, including a 1-0 victory over Moravian on September 26.

Under Korba's direction in 2015, the Gophers finished the year ranked fourth in the conference in total goals (25) and goal differential. She also coached a pair of players to All-Landmark Conference Honors, including first-team defender Lexi Solazzo and second-team midfield honoree Samantha Turner.

In 2012, Korba guided the Gophers to a 12-4-2 record, tying the school record for most wins in a season. It also marked the third-consecutive in which the team had surpassed the win total from the previous year. Goucher competed for a playoff spot in the highly-competitive Landmark Conference right up to the final weekend that fall, and the Gophers have continued to be playoff contenders in each of the last three campaigns.

Korba has led the Gophers during all nine seasons in the Landmark. During that time the team has produced 15 all-conference selections (three First-Team, 12 Second-Team) as well as 2011 Freshman of the Year Sherlanda Buskey.

In addition, Korba has coached three NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honorees. Prior to Korba's arrival, the program had only produced one all-region performer. She joined Goucher's coaching staff prior to the 2005 season and served as head coach in a part-time capacity for two years. In 2007, she became the first full-time head coach in the program’s 27-year history.

Korba began her coaching career in 2001 as the first assistant at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. After one year as an assistant, she was elevated to head coach for the 2002 season and guided the Thoroughbreds to their first winning record in six years.

After leaving Skidmore in '02, Korba worked for both the NY/NJ Metrostars and DC United of Major League Soccer (MLS). She also served as an assistant coach with the U-18 Washington Freedom Academy program. During that time Korba also competed as a forward in the semi-pro Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) as a member of the Maryland Pride. After playing three seasons for the Pride, Korba took over the reign of head coach in the summer of 2006 and served in that capacity for one season.

Prior to coaching, Korba was a standout soccer player at her alma mater, Hobart and William Smith College, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2000. While playing for the National Championship winning Herons, Korba competed in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament all four years of her career. She also helped the 1997 team to the NCAA National Championship finals, where they finished as the runner-up.

Over her four-year playing career, Korba collected numerous awards including all-conference, all-state, and NSCAA All-Region honors. After an impressive senior season at William Smith, Korba was named an NSCAA Division III All-American as well as the New York State and UCAA Player of the Year. At William Smith, Korba still ranks tied for fourth all-time for points and goals in a season. Her team during her senior campaign also set the all-time record for most goals, points and assists in a season.

In July of 2015 Korba was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics at Goucher. She currently oversees all outdoor facilities, outdoor game management and handles all outdoor rental requests. Korba is also the Director of the Premier 125 Girls Soccer Academy and the Nike Soccer Camp. Additionally, she is the chair of the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-American Committee.

Korba and her husband Don have two daughters, Riley and Taylor.
