Bio

McCallie Jones is in her second season with the Gophers. 

Jones joined Tati Korba's staff in 2015. She is a 2014 graduate of the College of Charleston.

She spent a year at the United Soccer Academy in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. coaching the U-8 junior academy girls as well as the U-18 Elite team. She was also an assistant coach at West Ashley High School in Charleston for a single season prior to joining the Gopher's coaching staff.

A stellar player on and off the field at Charleston, she appeared in 65 games, scored 11 goals and tallied 12 assists -- topping 4,000 minutes during her collegiate career. In the classroom, she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in communication and a double minor in psychology and coaching.

Jones played four seasons for the Charlotte Lady Eagles W-League team, a semi-pro USL team out of Charlotte, N.C. She was named All-Conference as an outside back in 2013. In 2015, the Eagles missed going to the league semifinals by one game, tying the eventual champions, Washington Spirit Reserves.

As a high school student-athlete, Jones attended South Charlotte Soccer Academy (now Charlotte Soccer Academy) and the Charlotte Latin School. During her high school career she earned All-Conference honors four times, All-State honors three times and All-Region honors twice. During her senior year at the Charlotte Latin School, Jones helped the team to a #1 national ranking where the team remained undefeated. 

While competing in high school, Jones also participated in the Olympic Development Program for two years, leading the team in goals scored during the 2008-09 campaign.

Jones is pursuing her master's of education with a specialization in athletic program leadership and administration at Goucher.
