Bio

Katie Robinson begins her second season with the Goucher coaching staff for the fall of 2012 season, serving as the program’s first Assistant/Graduate Assistant.

Robinson is a 2010 Graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training. She currently holds her “D” Coaching License issued by United States Soccer Federation.

Katie began her playing career at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the fall of 2006 when the 49ers won the Atlantic 10 Conference and went 12-5-3 overall. She continued to play at Capital University where she was a three-time first team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) selection, as well as a three-time All-Great Lakes Region player. In 2007 she helped lead the team to win the OAC Tournament Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament. She led her team in points and goals in each of her three seasons and was awarded OAC Forward of the year in 2008.

Robinson served as the Head Coach for Columbus Futbol Academy’s U-9 Premier and U-9 Classics teams, and has been involved in coaching for the Columbus Crew’s Youth Soccer Camps.

Since moving to Towson, Robinson has coached the Under-16 girls team for the Soccer Association of Columbia. She is currently the Assistant Coach for the U-17 team in the Maryland State Olympic Development Program.
