ITA Recognizes 11 Goucher Players for Academics

SKILLMAN, N.J. – In recognition of their academic accomplishments, 11 tennis players from Goucher have been designated 2008 ITA Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the governing body of collegiate tennis.

Gophers Crunch Crusaders, Clinch Playoff Berth

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - With the final berth in the upcoming Landmark Conference playoffs riding on the outcome of Goucher's match against Susquehanna today, the Gophers started off by sweeping the three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. Then they secured their spot in the playoffs by capturing five of the six singles matches to earn an 8-1 victory over the Crusaders.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Goucher gave Moravian, the team picked to win the 2007-08 Landmark Conference title in a pre-season poll, all it could handle today, but the Greyhounds (5-5, 3-0 Landmark) were able to finish on top, 5-4.
