Women's Tennis Earns Four Landmark All-Conference Selections
TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College women's tennis team earned a total of four All-Conference selections as the Landmark Conference released its All-Conference teams on Wednesday afternoon.
First year Lucy Ingraham was named to the Second Team in singles, while junior Eliza Abady was an Honorable Mention selection. In doubles, Abady and Natalia Navarro earned a spot on the First Team, while Ingraham and Jessica Townes were named Second Team.
Ingraham posted a 6-2 record in Landmark Conference singles play during the season, playing in five different flights for the Gophers but primarily at No. 2. Overall Ingraham was 10-7 in dual match singles play. Ingraham and Townes posted a 6-0 record in conference doubles action and were 8-3 overall playing primarily at second doubles.
Abady and Navarro, playing at No. 1 doubles, went 4-2 in Landmark doubles competition and posted a 5-3 overall mark. Abady went 6-2 in the conference in singles play and was 8-6 overall.
Abady was Landmark Second Team singles in 2022 and Second Team doubles in 2023, while Navarro earned Second Team in both singles and doubles in her rookie campaign in 2023.
Goucher made its third straight Landmark Conference semifinal appearance in 2024 and its 11 victories were its most since winning 12 matches in 2013.
