Kellon Breaks School, Conference Records in 400 Hurdles

Sophomore Completes Event in 1:04.84, Good for Seventh Place Overall

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — Goucher's Jaclyn Kellon (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel) completed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.84 today at the Tuppany Twilight Last Chance Meet, breaking both the school and Landmark Conference records in the event.

Kellon, a sophomore who successfully defended her title in the 400 hurdles earlier this month at the 2011 Landmark Conference Track & Field Championships, was the first runner to cross the finish line in her heat and placed seventh overall at today's meet.

Laura Barrito from Stevens Tech placed first in the 400 hurdles. Her winning time was 1:01.17.
