Gophers Last Just Four Sets Against In-State Rivals

Quinn Posts Double-Double of Match-High 14 Kills, 10 Digs

Set scores were 9-25, 25-16, 25-12, 25-21.
The Gophers (2-4) went the entire first set without making a kill and finished with a -.348 attack percentage.
The Mustangs (10-1) were guilty of 10 hitting errors and three service errors in the second set, where senior opposite hitter Kasey Quinn (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) earned five of Goucher's points with kills.
Quinn led all players in kills with 14, plus she was credited with 10 digs and two service aces.
Stevenson never trailed in the third set, but the decisive fourth game featured nine ties and six lead changes before the Mustangs went ahead to stay at 16-15 on a kill by Alex Mercer.
