Sophomore outside hitter Megan Chalk (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) supplied 11 kills to the victory and sophomore setter Tori Rain (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was credited with 20 assists. Goucher's leaders in other categories were: junior libero Ashley Fan (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) with 22 digs, sophomore middle hitter Trish Kallis (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) with four blocks, and freshman outside hitter Kristen Courage (Port Washington, N.Y./Paul D. Schreiber) with three service aces.
Sophomore middle hitter Addie Lanzarotta (Los Angeles, Calif./Culver City) finished with a .444 attack percentage for the Gophers (5-9).
In failing to win at least one set for the 10th consecutive match, the Green Terror (0-12) managed to hit only .000 as a team.
