Gophers Continue Homestand with Loss to McDaniel

The defeat was the fourth in a row for Goucher (6-7), while McDaniel improves to 5-3 after its second-straight win.
Hannah Kuehl (Plymouth, N.H./Plymouth Regional) led the way with seven kills for the Gophers. Megan Chalk (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) added six kills and 10 digs, securing her fifth-consecutive game with 10 or more digs.
Addie Lanzarotta (Los Angeles, Calif./Culver City) chipped in five kills and a season-high 11 digs. Tori Rain (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) had five kills, four aces and nine digs, while Sarah Johnson (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) contributed nine digs, 23 assists and a pair of aces.
For the match, Goucher managed a .107 attack percentage.
The Gophers will continue an eight-match homestand next Tuesday against St. Mary's (Md.). The Seahawks are currently 7-1 this season. Next week's match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
