Gophers Upended by Drew 3-1

TOWSON, Md. - Visiting Drew University registered a 3-1 Landmark Conference women's volleyball victory over Goucher College Saturday afternoon at the Decker Sports and Recreation Center. Set scores were 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17.
- Drew (2-10, 1-1 Landmark) scored six straight points to take an early 8-4 lead.
- Goucher (2-13, 0-2) cut the lead to three five times before the Rangers scored six straight points to take a 20-11 lead.
- Down 24-14, Goucher scored three straight points, including a Kailee Turner service ace.
- The set was tied three times early before six straight Drew points gave it a 9-4 lead.
- An Emma Taylor kill and a Madison Amaya service ace cut the Ranger lead to 9-6.
- The Gophers pulled within 12-10 before three straight Drew points made it a five-point set.
- Goucher whittled the lead back to three, 18-15, on a block by Rianne Nickerson and Taylor.
