Bio

Charlotte Harris is entering her first season as a graduate assistant for the Goucher volleyball program after a standout career as a libero at Division I Mercer University.

Harris played for the Bears from 2008-2011, earning First-Team All-Atlantic Sun honors as a junior after setting a new program record with 638 digs. She was the first Mercer player to ever receive first-team recognition, and she was one of only 14 players in Division I with over 600 digs. Harris was named the Atlantic Sun Libero of the Year for her performance. As a senior, she led the team once again with 494 digs.

The Chapel Hill, N.C., native was a multiple A-Sun All-Academic honoree as well, and she graduated from Mercer in 2012 with a major in psychology and a minor in communications. After spending a year in London working with a psychologist, Harris joined the coaching ranks this summer, working as a resource coach at Triangle Volleyball Club in North Carolina and also assisting at NC State volleyball camps.

At Goucher, Harris will be working towards a Master of Education degree with a specialization in athletic leadership and administration.
