Thornton-Fillyaw Posts 76th-Place Finish at NCAA Regionals

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Goucher College women's cross country first year Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw (Bethesda, Md. / Cheverly STEM Education Center) finished 76th overall out of 209 runners to pace three Gopher runners competing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional held at Lock Haven University on Saturday.

Thornton-Fillyaw traversed the 6K course in a time of 24:15.9.  Sophie O'Connor (Shorewood, Wisc./Shorewood) posted a time of 25.39.1 to finish 119th, while Reese Finnigan (Dallas, Texas/Grapevine) posted a time of 27.27.4.

The NCAA regional wrapped up Goucher's cross country season.
