Bloom Makes Career-Best 19 Saves, Gophers See Win Streak Snapped

TOWSON, Md. - Despite a career-best 19 saves by Goucher College sophomore goalie Katie Bloom, the Gophers saw their six-game win streak snapped as visiting Hood College scored a pair of fourth quarter goals en route to a 2-0 non-conference field hockey victory Tuesday afternoon at Beldon Field.
- Bloom recorded her first save for Goucher (6-2) just under two minutes into the contest.

- Annie Bennett had a shot saved by Hood (5-3) goalie Richana Brown just shy of the game's 10-minute mark.
