Goucher Men's Lacrosse Starts Three-Game Homestand On Saturday Against Delaware Valley

• Rashaan Evans scored the eventual game-winner with 6:15 left in the fourth quarter to lift Goucher College past Lebanon Valley College 11-10 in non-conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday. Holding a 10-8 lead going into the final frame, the Gophers saw the Flying Dutchmen cut the margin to one tally with 12:47 left. Evans then restored a two-marker lead with 6:15 remaining in the fourth to give Goucher an 11-9 edge. Lebanon Valley recorded a goal with 25 seconds left and won the ensuing faceoff, but the Goucher defense blocked a shot and Lukas Glaser scooped up the ground ball to secure the first victory of the year.
• Grant Lasorda also notched a career high in the game with four goals. 
• Matt Woodson added three goals and two assists for five points.
• Justin Lugo made nine saves for his first collegiate victory in between the pipes.
• Stephen Carpenter, Sam Gravel and Brandon Smith registered four ground balls and one caused turnovers each to pace the defense. Nick Patterson won 15 of 22 faceoffs in the winning effort.

• Matt Woodson posted his first hat trick of the season and third of his career. Woodson has six goals and five assists for 11 points to fuel the squad.
