ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Elizabethtown College jumped out to a 9-2 halftime lead and went on to post a 13-4 Landmark Conference men's lacrosse victory over Goucher College Saturday afternoon at Wolf Field.
- The Blue Jays (3-4, 1-0 Landmark) scored just 14 seconds into the game and built a 3-0 lead 3:16 into the contest.
- Elizabethtown scored again at 4:20 and with 31 seconds left in the period to take a 5-0 lead through 15 minutes.
- Goucher (6-3, 0-1) goalie Jack Smith had three saves in the opening period.
- Etown extended its lead to 6-0 11:12 before halftime.
- Jacob Morgan got the Gophers on the board with back-to-back goals at 8:42 and 5:25.
- Theo Cook IV assisted on the first goal, while the second goal was unassisted.
- The Blue Jays scored three times in the final 4:25 to take a 9-2 lead into the break.
- After the hosts scored the first goal of the third, Jack McDermott recorded a man-up goal at the 11:02 mark, with Holden Vance assisting.
- Etown led 11-3 through three quarters.
