Fourth Quarter Comeback Puts Goucher Over Albright

READING, Pa. - After falling behind with a third quarter surge from the Albright College Lions (1-6 Overall), the Goucher College Gophers (4-2 Overall) rallied back to secure the 14-13 win.
- Albright opened the first quater with four unanswered goals, putting them up 4-0 with 5:06 remaining.
- A man-up goal from Tyler May with an assist from Milan Temple ended the scoring streak from the Lions.
- Temple responded with just under two minutes remaining in the quarter, off an assist from Jacob Morgan to put the Gophers within two.
- Gianni Karam began the scoring just 39 seconds into the second quarter with Morgan adding another assist.
- The game remained scoreless until the three minute mark when Morgan added his first goal of the game.
- Jack Murdaugh scored his first goal of the season with an unassisted finish to give the Gophers their first lead of the game (1:01).
- Albright ended the scoring of the half with 26 seconds left on the clock to tie the game 5-5.
- The Lions scored the first goal of the second half just 45 seconds in.
- Karam tied the game again with 11 minutes remaining in the quarter.
- Albright proceeded to score six straight goals, their final of the quarter coming at the 4:12 mark.
- The Gophers ended the Lions scoring run with a Scott Tayman finish off a pass from Morgan (2:52).
- May concluded the scoring of the quater, to bring the Gophers within four heading into the final quarter.
- Morgan maintained the momentum for the Gophers adding a goal 46 seconds into the final quarter.
- Abright responded with a finish less than a minute later to bring the score to 9-13.
- Tayman and Morgan team up once again for the tenth goal for the Gophers (12:24).
- After a scoreless seven minutes, Morgan puts one in the net, with May earning the assist. May then scores an unassisted goal at the 3:18 mark.
- Karam finishes a pass from May to tie the game with 1:24 remaining in the contest.

- The Lions outshot the Gophers 43-37, but also had more turnovers (21-17).
