TOWSON, Md. - After a grueling 90 minutes of play, the Goucher College men's soccer team lost to visiting Catholic by a 1-0 score in Landmark Conference action on Wednesday night at Beldon Field.
With the heartbreaking loss, Goucher fell to 5-9-1 and 2-3 in the Landmark Conference. Catholic improved to 8-5 overall and 4-1 in the Landmark with the victory.
In the loss, the Gophers were led in shots by junior Brandon Cohen (Redondo Beach, Calif.), who had two (one of which was on goal). In net, senior Daniel Hendry (Lewisburg, Pa.) was terrific all evening, stopping 13 of 14 shots on goal during the contest, 7 in the first half and 6 in the second.

Catholic's goal was scored by Ben Alexander off of a headed pass from Paul Egan. Alexander also led the Cardinals with 8 shots.
