Five from Men's Soccer Named CSC Academic All-District
2023 CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS
TOWSON, Md. - Five members of the Goucher College men's soccer team were named to the 2023 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or an important reserve and have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women).
Goucher's CSC Academic All-District honorees are:
- Tre Byrd, junior, Communications
- Gus Dalzell, junior, Environmental Studies and Economics
- Will Frasier, junior, Biology
- Ale Sternini, sophomore, Economics
- Paul Van Engeland, sophomore, Business and Economics
