SCRANTON, Pa. - Senior Jonathan Alvarado scored with 10 minutes remaining to break a 1-1 tie and lift Goucher College to a 2-1 Landmark Conference men's soccer victory over the University of Scranton at Weiss Field Saturday afternoon. It marked the first win over the Royals for the Gophers since 2015.
- Scranton (5-3-4, 2-1-1 Landmark) put a shot on goal in the first minute that was saved by Goucher (5-5-2, 1-3) keeper Ale Sternini.
- Michael Adekanmbi had Goucher's first shot at the four minute mark.
