MADISON, N.J. – Goucher produced the Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference for the period ending August 31, according to an official release that was issued today by the conference.
The honor went to sophomore forward Sisley Pumilia (Chesterfield, N.H./Keene), who tallied three of the Gophers' first four goals in their season-opening 10-0 triumph over Wilson. In addition, Pumilia was awarded assists on three of the four goals that her teammate Erin Bradley (Framingham, Mass./Marian) scored against the Phoenix.
The nine-point performance by Pumilia is a new single-game Landmark Conference record.
