ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Host Eastern scored a goal in each half, and were able to keep the Goucher College women's soccer team off the scoreboard all match to take a 2-0 victory on Saturday.
With the loss, Goucher dropped to 2-2 overall, while Eastern improved to 2-2 with the win.
In the defeat, seniors Theresa Antkowiak-Tassone (Towson, Md.) and Sara Naughton (Simsbury, Conn.) led the team with three shots each. Goucher put up a total of nine shots across two halves of play, as well.
The Gophers Women's Soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Alvernia for another road match. Action gets underway at 7 p.m.
