Gophers' Win Streak Snapped at Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Goucher College women's soccer team saw its three-game win streak snapped with a 1-0 loss to Lancaster Bible College in a non-conference match Tuesday night at Herr Stadium.

• Lily Shaffer (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) had the first shot of the game for Goucher (7-8) just 33 seconds in.
• Lancaster Bible (9-8) put its first shot on goal in the 10th minute, with Jenna Abaza (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) making the save.
• Abaza made another save midway through the first half.
• Goucher outshot the Chargers 4-3 in the opening 45 minutes.

• Taylor Urie (Simi Valley, Calif. / Simi Valley) put a shot on goal just over four minutes into the second half that was stopped by LBC keeper Hannah Leib.
• Leib made another save on a bid by Arianna Carman (Woolwich, N.J. / Kingsway) just past the 57-minute mark.
• The Chargers scored the game's only goal in the 63rd minute as Kendal Ream scored on a feed from Marissa Allebach.
• Carman pushed a shot for the Gophers wide in the 77th minute.
• Carly Stevens (Hampstead, Md. / Hereford) has the final shot for Goucher with just over three minutes left that went wide.

• Goucher outshot Lancaster Bible 6-1 in the second half and 10-4 for the game.
• Both Abaza and Leib made two saves.
• Carman led the Gophers with five shots.
• Each team took a pair of corner kicks.

• Goucher closes out the regular season Saturday, traveling to Susquehanna for a pivotal 1 pm Landmark Conference contest.
