Claudia Roller Named Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - Senior Claudia Roller (Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro) of the Goucher College women's soccer team was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Roller totaled two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week.  She scored twice, including a penalty kick goal, in a 4-0 win over Immaculata on Saturday afternoon.  On Wednesday, Roller recorded an assist in a 2-1 win at Marymount (Va.).

Roller is the second Goucher women's soccer player to earn Landmark weekly honors this season, as junior goalie Marissa Spacht (Marlton, Pa./Garden Spot) was named Defensive Athlete of the Week last week.

Goucher, 4-0 for the first time since 2012, returns to action Monday night when it travels to Hood for a 7 pm contest.
