Belle St. Jean Named to All-ECAC Women's Soccer Second Team

ECAC Announces 2023 Division III Women's Soccer All-ECAC and Major Awards

DANBURY, Conn. - Senior defender Belle St. Jean of the Goucher College women's soccer team was named to the All-ECAC Second Team, it was announced on Tuesday.  St. Jean becomes the first Goucher women's soccer player to earn All-ECAC honors.

St. Jean, a Landmark Second Team All-Landmark Conference and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-Region selection this season, started all 17 games for Goucher, one of four players to do so, and anchored a defense that posted a 1.00 goals-against average and registered five shutouts.  St. Jean was also recently recognized as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection.

In three seasons at Goucher, St. Jean started all 50 games played and was a three-time Landmark All-Conference and two-time All-Region selection, as well as a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.

Goucher finished 2023 with its fewest losses since 2012 and setting a program record for draws, going 4-5-8 overall.
