WASHINGTON, D.C. - Host Catholic University scored three goals in a three-minute span midway through the first half as it went on to defeat Goucher College 6-0 in Landmark Conference women's soccer Wednesday evening at Carlini Field.

First Half

  • Goucher (3-9-4, 0-5-2 Landmark) goalie Madison Gutierrez made her first save 2:19 into the game.
  • After two more Gutierrez saves, Catholic (6-6-3, 2-3-2 Landmark) got on the board on a Isabel Doherty goal in the 16th minute.
  • The Cardinals scored three times in a span of three minutes to go up 4-0 in the 28th minute on Ava Gregorio's tally.
