Bio

Carmichael, who came to Goucher from Colorado Springs, Colorado, was the IHSA national champion and Zone IV champion in Novice Fences as a sophomore in 2014 as she helped the Gophers to a sixth-place finish at nationals.  As a junior Carmichael was the Reserve Zone Champion and placed fifth at nationals in Novice Flat, while as a senior she repeated as Reserve Zone Champion in Novice Flat to earn her third nationals trip.  As a team Goucher qualified for nationals in each of her four seasons and captured four Zone IV, Region I championships.
