Overview:

An extension of the Blue & Gold Society, the Blue & Gold Advisory Board is a volunteer group comprised of alumnae/i, parents and friends of Goucher College who promotes the interests and wellbeing of Gopher athletics. Specifically, this group is tasked with supporting athletics through financial contribution, advocacy, engagement and mentorship. This group will advance the student-athlete experience at Goucher while helping to champion the mission of the athletic department.

1. Generosity – Enhance the affinity for Goucher athletics by making a personal financial commitment to the Blue & Gold Society and encourage others to donate as well.

2. Advocacy – Help sustain and foster the athletics community by networking and advocating for the important role it plays in many students’ lives.

3. Mentorship – Connect with student-athletes to expand their experiences and promote a holistic approach to live at Goucher and beyond.

4. Engagement – Assist in building community on a regional and national level by engaging with members of the Goucher community to help raise awareness and support.
