Department of Athletics to host Healthy Relationships Awareness Day March 24th

The Goucher College Department of Athletics will spread awareness of Healthy Relationships throughout the entire day on Saturday, March 24th, as the Gophers host a pair of events on-campus.

On the 24th, the men's lacrosse team will open Landmark Conference play for the 2018 season at Beldon Field, taking on Scranton beginning at 1 p.m. Meanwhile, the Gopher track & field teams will host the annual Goucher Track & Field Classic inside Gopher Stadium, which will begin at 9 a.m.

The Healthy Relationship Awareness Day is part of the continuing initiative by Men Can Stop Rape, which Goucher teamed up with through a grant from the Office of Violence Against Women. Throughout the day on the 24th, information will be distributed both at the track & field event and the men's lacrosse match promoting the importance of healthy relationships.
