Landmark Announces 2008 Fall All-Academic Team
MADISON, N.J. - The Landmark Conference today announced the names of the 32 student-athletes who make up the 2008 Fall Landmark All-Academic Team, which recognizes two male and two female athletes who have excelled athletically and academically from each of the eight Landmark institutions.

Royals Head Back Home with 3-2 Landmark Win
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher got on the scoreboard first and also produced the final goal of today's Landmark Conference game against Scranton in Gopher Stadium, but it was the three goals in between that allowed the Royals to head back home with a 3-2 victory.

Bobcats Make Second Lead Over Gophers Stand Up
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher managed to erase the first one-goal deficit it faced in today's game against visiting Frostburg St., but time ran out on head coach Warren Prestwich's Gophers before they could do it a second time. Therefore, the goal the Bobcats scored at 48:31 to snap a 1-1 tie turned out to be the game-winner in their 2-1 victory.

Mustangs Claim Second Victory Over Gophers
STEVENSON, Md. –There were only :19 remaining in the first half today when Goucher 's Ali Metzger (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) tallied her third goal of the season to get the Gophers even with Stevenson, 1-1. But just 4:00 into the second half, the Mustangs regained the lead on a goal by Krissy Leventis and they went on to claim a 2-1 victory.

Greyhounds Prevail 2-1 Over Visiting Gophers
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – One of Goucher's two wins in Landmark Conference play last season was over Moravian. Those two teams hooked up again today, but this time the Greyhounds had the advantage of playing at home and were able to pull out a 2-1 victory over the Gophers.

Armao Strikes Twice in Victory Over Phoenix
TOWSON, Md. – A pair of goals by Catherine Armao (Pleasantville, N.Y./Pleasantville) staked Goucher to a 2-0 lead over Wilson before the end of the first half this afternoon. The Gophers tacked on an insurance goal in the closing moments of the contest and then celebrated their 3-0 triumph over the Phoenix.
