BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College falls to Lebanon Valley College in non-conference field hockey action on Saturday.
Devin Brashear (Escondido, Calif./San Pasqual) made two saves while Caroline Doll (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) and Meghan Oakes (Boothbay, Maine/Boothbay Regional) each recorded two shots on the afternoon.
Oakes had two shots in the third quarter stopped by the Flying Dutchmen's netminder in the 34th and 39th minutes. Doll had both of her shots in the fourth quarter, missing wide in the 47th minute and then had her scoring chance thwarted by the Lebanon Valley defense in the 48th minute.
The Flying Dutchmen scored twice in the second quarter and twice in the third quarter to earn a 4-0 victory.
Goucher returns to action at Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday before returning home to open Landmark Conference play at Beldon Field against Drew. Match time against the Royals on Tuesday is 4 p.m.
