Jaime Roche Named A Zags Field Hockey/ NFHCA Scholar Of Distinction
BALTIMORE, Md. – Jaime Roche (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Technical), a member of the Goucher College field hockey team, has been named a Zags Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction.
"Jaime is an unbelievable student," said head coach Stacey Eversley. "On the field she is disciplined, poised and reliable and off the field she is the same way. She is a natural when it comes to learning and it is so great to see her be honored for something that she more than deserves."
Roche is a sophomore special education major. The sophomore appeared in eight games and registered a shot in 2020 and has appeared in 12 contests in her career.
"I couldn't believe what I was seeing!," said Roche. "I was so surprised and excited to see that I had won the award. I'm proud that my hard work paid off."
