Senior Spotlight: Field Hockey
We move onto our team Senior Spotlights for the programs that were able to have a Senior Day during 2019-20. We would like to thank five Goucher field hockey players for their hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the field hockey program for the last four years.
2019 Goucher Field Hockey Senior Class
First we have a Newark, Delaware native, who appeared in 28 games including three starts in her career. She registered her first career point on an assist against Transylvania on September 1. Next we have a senior from Salisbury, Maryland, who appeared in 59 games including 34 starts in her career. She notched 10 goals and five assists for 25 points all in her final two seasons. In 2019, she ranked second on the team with nine goals and five assists for 23 points and was named the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Athlete of the Week earlier this year. Next we have a Boothbay, Maine native, who appeared in 54 games including 37 starts in her career. She posted 13 goals and five assists for 31 points in her career. She had a career-high five goals and two assists for 12 points including a hat trick against Southern Virginia on September 7 in her senior campaign. Next we have a Huntington Beach, California native, who appeared in 48 games with 29 starts in her career. She notched her first collegiate goal against Ferrum on September 8. Next we have a San Diego, California native, who appeared in 64 games including 37 starts in her career. She registered a goal and three assists for five points in her career. She scored a goal against Moravian as a sophomore and dished out an assist in each of her final three seasons. She is majoring in business management and the daughter of Sahlee and Rodel.
