Gophers Have Seven Named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - Seven members of the Goucher College field hockey team were recognized as Scholars of Distinction by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Monday. A total of 509 student-athletes at Division III institutions were recognized.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
Recognized for Goucher were junior Kaitlyn Bucci, senior Daryn Carter, sophomore Maddie Fisher, first year Baylee Klose, junior Zoe Mikles, sophomore Isa Schenk and first year Camden West.
A total of 29 student-athletes from the 10 Landmark Conference institutions were honored.
