League-Leading Catholic Tops Gophers 3-1

WASHINGTON, D.C. - League-leading Catholic University remained unbeaten in the Landmark Conference with a 3-1 win over Goucher College at Cardinal Stadium in field hockey action Tuesday evening. Goucher's Kaitlyn Bucci scored her 11th goal of the season in defeat.
- Catholic (9-7, 7-0 Landmark) scored off a penalty corner 2:49 into the game on a Molly Romano goal.
- Three minutes later, Bucci had Goucher's (6-10, 1-6) first shot of the game.
- Gopher goalie Katie Bloom made three saves in a 27-second span midway through the quarter.
