Kaitlyn Bucci Named Landmark First Team All-Conference, Annie Bennett Second Team
TOWSON, Md. - Senior Kaitlyn Bucci of the Goucher College field hockey team was named to the Landmark Conference All-Conference team for the second straight season, collecting First Team honors, it was announced on Tuesday. Bucci is the Gophers' first First Team honoree since Sarah Shklanko in 2017. First year Annie Bennett was named to the Second Team by the conference coaches.
Bucci played in all 18 games for the Gophers and finished with 11 goals and two assists for 24 points, the most goals by a Goucher player since Maya Belin scored 12 in 2018. Bucci ranks fifth in the Landmark Conference in goals and seventh in points.
In two seasons at Goucher, Bucci totaled 18 goals and four assists for 40 points. She earned Second Team All-Conference honors in her first season at Goucher in 2023.
Bennett started all 18 games for the Gophers and totaled six goals and four assists for 16 points. She registered a hat trick against Wilson College on September 30 and also recorded a pair of assists against Drew on October 19 on the road.
